* We are not affiliated with MEAC and have no plans to do that.

* We offer the NARM Focus for those who want assistance in preparing for the test, but our curriculum is designed for a far more complete education and preparation for practice. We have never had a student fail the written NARM exam and many of our students pass the NARM exam long before AMS graduation, but we do not teach to test. A significant portion of the course requirements must be submitted prior to beginning the NARM Focus option. AMS academic requirements far exceed those required to obtain a CPM. If the CPM is your only educational goal, this will not be the course for you. Three are many shorter and easier routes to the CPM. We do not apologize for the difficulty of the curriculum. It is extremely comprehensive by design. Our graduates are always well prepared for competent independent midwifery practice.

* The period of enrollment is 42 months. We are very flexible and family friendly and extensions are affordable. Some courtesy extensions are offered and some may be earned. It is possible to graduate in far less time, but some students have taken much longer. We would rather it take you many years to finish than for you to put your family on the back burner.

* There are minimal additional fees required during the enrollment, with some of them being refundable at graduation.

We prefer Cashier’s Checks for the deposits but will accept a personal check with the understanding that check must clear before an AAMI file number is assigned.
