Are there other required courses or classes?

We hold outside requirements to a bare minimum. I initially designed The Midwifery Home Study Course for women who did not want to leave their families, relocate, or attend college in order to acquire an academic midwifery education. You will be required to take a CPR course and to take a proctored test, the MSAT. It may or may not be in your home. A college level Anatomy & Physiology course is one option (not a requirement) in Section 3. You may satisfy that requirement by studying at home and taking a proficiency exam at a local college. Workshop and conference attendance is recommended, but not required. We highly recommend attendance at our Midwifery SkillsLabs.
